Der Dom im Berg steht dieses Jahr ganz im Zeichen des Hyperdub Showcase, präsentiert von FM4. Gründer des innovativen Hyperdub Labels ist der Londoner Steve Goodman, besser bekannt als Kode9, welcher gemeinsam mit The Spaceape ein neues Live-Set performen wird. Darüberhinaus gibt es das Live-Debüt von King Midas Sound sowie DJ-Sets von Darkstar, Ikonika und Cooly G zu bewundern.  Eingeleitet und ergänzt wird der Abend von dem vielversprechenden The Clonious und dem Grazer Urgestein Simon/off.

Zum fünfjährigen Labeljubiläum wurde auch die "Hyperdub's 5" Compilation veröffentlicht. Hörbeispiele gibt es hier.

Goodman präsentiert sein Buch: Steve Goodman wird am 22. Oktober im Grazer Stadtmuseum einen Vortrag / Lesung aus seinem Buch "Sonic Warfare - Sound, Affect, and the Ecology of Fear" halten. Mehr Informationen gibts hier.

This year´s FM4 stage on Elevate Festival is all about Hyperdub, music label growing out of the worlds most pulsating and innovative scene of underground electronic music- London UK. Celebrating the 5th year of its existence, the label owner and producer Kode9 aka Steve Goodman put together a line up presenting some of the Hyperdub´s most interesting artists for the first time in Austria. Appart from DJ sets from Darkstar, Ikonika and Cooly G, Hyperdub showcase will feature the premiere King Midas Sound (The Bug feat. Roger Robinson) live show, as well as the new Kode9 and The Spaceape live set. Additionaly, you will be able to hear the live set from the upcoming Viennese artist The Clonious and a DJ set by Graz´ very own Simon/off.
